Two gentlemen on a train accidentally end up with their suitcases swapped. One of the suitcases contain an invaluable manuscript, the importance of which is unknown to the owner of that suitcase.

When Kandarpanarayan's youngest son is found dead, Feluda is roped in to solve the murder, in addition to the police. However, the investigations reveal multiple suspects.

Famous detective Feluda meets Som, who tells him about a notorious drug ring in Kathmandu. When Som is found murdered soon after, Feluda, along with Jatayu and Topshe, sets out to nab the culprits.
